TRP TR-12 and DHR EVO
Product testing and development of the TR-12 Drivetrain and DHR-EVO Resin, Sintered, and Metallic Brake Pads.
The majority of my time at TRP Cycling was spent with the engineering team working on their TR12 12-speed shifter and derailleur. I rode somewhere between 15-20 hours a week on multiple different prototypes, documenting and testing specific parts of the shifter and derailleur. Everything was taken into consideration, even down to whether the downshift should feel like a swing or a straight push. I was directly responsible for testing the indexing in the shifter and the adjustability and function of the clutch. This project took us 2 years of testing and developing to complete.

On top of testing and developing the TR12 drivetrain, I was also responsible for testing brake pad compounds and caliper strength of the TRP DH R Evo brakes. I had to follow a specific bed-in procedure and record the amount of pad wear at specific time intervals. This testing provided TRP engineers with the data needed to develop three new pads in the last year.
