My name is Dakota Janes.​

I am a designer by trade, bicycle mechanic by day, and sports enthusiast by night. As a bicycle mechanic and designer at Peak State Fit, I repair bicycles, create graphics and content, and develop a better user experience as we expand from a small bicycle fitting studio to a full-service bicycle performance center and coffee shop.

On the side, I work as a freelance graphic designer. Currently, I have two ongoing projects. One is creating product labels for SCC Tech, a bicycle maintenance product company. The second creating advertising decks, informational graphics, and course material for the Salt Lake City Criterium.

Whether on two wheels or any other sporting endeavor, I want to elevate the experience for every athlete and fan by drawing from my extensive knowledge and love for all things sports-related. When I’m not working, I enjoy riding my mountain bike, playing hockey, skiing, and traveling.
